A future update on DCS World will come with a completely updated and revised air-traffic-control system with all new radio calls and a far more realistic interpretation of what coming in for a landing (and presumably other operations) are like. Today that was teased on Eagle Dynamics DCS World Facebook page with a little taste of what is to come.
Authentic radio calls
DCS World is undoubtedly all about the realism, however, some areas of the sim have taken than to higher levels than others and one of the areas that currently lacks in the radio calls. Some are decently good while others are a little lacking. Now we’re seeing a slow rolling update to the radio system.

Some of the voice lines being recorded are being done with a former LSO (Landing Signal Officer) so you can bet that authenticity will be something they will be aiming for with this update.
In the future, Eagle Dynamics is also going to revise the airfield ATC calls as well. We don’t yet know if the revised calls will extend across the rest of DCS World’s experience. Consistency and greater flexibility on call-signs is required these days as multiplayer and single player scenarios grow.
