Thrustmaster is teasing a new joystick ahead of FS Expo 2019

If you’ve been following hardware news recently, Thrustmaster has announced that they will be unveiling a AAA level hardware release at Flight-Sim Expo 2019 this year.

Tweets and guesses

A couple of teases have been coming from Thrustmaster in recent days. First there was this one…

And then…

The rumour mill has been working overtime on this one and at the very least it appears that some sort of new stick is going to be announced by Thrustmaster at the show.

It’s hardly a secret but Thrustmaster has been working hard on a new grip and back in 2017 showed off a prototype Hornet grip setup. We also know that Matt Wagner has had his own Hornet prototype stick in use for some time as well and is flying it with the DCS: F/A-18C. Is this what’s coming? It’s a good guess but we won’t know for certain until this weekend.

Fortunately, as many of you know, I will be at FS-Expo 2019 and I am going to be visiting the Thrustmaster booth. Look for follow up write-ups on everything I can learn there this weekend.
