Community Me262 video roundup

IL-2: Great Battle Series’ Me262 has certainly gotten some attention since its release early this week and I thought it’d be fun to round-up some of the fun or informative videos that are out there for your YouTube viewing pleasure. Let’s check them out!

From training to impressions to combat

There’s a ton of Me262 content being generated from the community and here’s some of the ones that I liked watching.

Let’s start first with a re-post showing off Requiem’s excellent training video. The Me262 is one of the more demanding aircraft to fly in IL-2 and if you’re just getting started I highly recommend you watch this video to get started.

Froggy Frog 9000’s Me262 outing is a gameplay video featuring an attack on a large formation of A-20Bs (in a custom mission). You may want a B-17 even more after it but in the meantime we have a great example of how the 262 can handle multi-engine aircraft with rockets and guns.

Similar to Froggy Frog 9000, ‘New Age’ by Vade is a multi-bomber mission custom intercept mission but with a slightly more cinematic style to it.

Robin Takolander takes the Me262 to the skies showing off the jet’s strike and interceptor abilities. Skip bombing with a 262 is a challenge and Robin pulls it off!

I-Fly-Central has an overview and review of the Me262 with both some instructive tips as well as an overall look at the 262 and how it measures up for him.

Lots of ways to check out the Me262 if you don’t have it yet or haven’t had a chance to go flying this week. If you see and more that you want to share, don’t hesitate to leave a link in the comments!

Update: I missed this one and it’s too good to not share. Check out Wanganui Wildcat’s ‘Swallowing my Pride’.
