This year I was fortunate to be able to attend Flight-Sim Expo 2019 in Orlando Flordia. I had a great time and I was able to provide some hopefully enjoyable and useful coverage to everyone here – particularly with the world reveal of the Me262 for IL-2: Battle of Bodenplatte which then released just a couple of days after the expo. This year Flight-Sim Expo has announced that they are returning to Las Vegas for the third annual expo event!
Two days in June at the Tropicana
The third annual FlightSimExpo will take place at Tropicana Las Vegas on June 12-14, 2020 located very close to McCarran International Airport. Here’s a word from the organizers:
“Vegas was a great venue for the inaugural FlightSimExpo, and we look forward to returning there in 2020,” says Evan Reiter, co-founder. “Attendees from the west coast kick started FlightSimExpo in 2018. For those who couldn’t join us in Orlando: we look forward to seeing you again! And for those who attended both, we think you’ll love the Tropicana this year.”
Registration begins in December and the FS Expo team have announced that rates are the same as in 2019: a limited number of $50 tickets during early registration will be followed by $70 all-weekend registrations. The Expo team encourages attendees to sign up for mailing list to receive an email when tickets become available.
Stormbirds goes to Vegas?
At this point I can’t finalize plans but I am hoping to return to Flight-Sim Expo 2019 with possibly even more coverage than last year. Stay tuned!
