This is by no means an official module coming to DCS World right now (wouldn’t it be great if it were) but a small team of fans have been busy building an unofficial modification for DCS World featuring the Su-24 Fencer all-weather attack and interdictor aircraft.
Weapons test video
A weapons test video has been posted to YouTube in just the last couple of days as the developers of this MOD test the aircraft’s weapons. Likely based on a Flaming Cliffs 3 module (as most mods are), the aircraft does feature a very impressive custom cockpit and the video demonstrates some of the working systems.
The developers of the mod have stated that they have no specific ETA or timeline for development and that they aren’t connected officially with Eagle Dynamics or any other modification teams.
In order to clarify the situation…
Morkva_55 on the DCS World forums
We have nothing common with “Alfa Simulation” or any other Dev team, we do not use Eagle Dynamics brand names or logos, we just make our own private Mod. We do not collect donations or ask for any support. We do not plan or announce any ETA date for this Mod, as well as the desire to make it public in this state of development. Thank you for understanding!
Remember, there’s nothing official about this but it is an impressive community effort as with the A-4 and MB-339 mods that have come before.
Check out this thread on the forums for more videos and discussion surrounding the mod.
This looks incredible. I don’t know how people make these things for free.

Hopefully they can eventually put their talents into making a full fidelity module as well!

Love how the cockpit looks. It’s like a late 60’s spaceship. If it was Full Fidelity I’d have bought it.

This is simply amazing ! I wish these mod teams could secure a deal with ED.

Even if they could, ED seems to be barred from building high fidelity Russian aircraft at the moment.
