RAZBAM hasn’t shown off too much of their F-15E but yesterday, amid all of the buzz around the Eurofighter, there was also an image shared by the RAZBAM team of their work in progress cockpit and it’s worth sharing!
Just a piece of what is coming together
RAZBAM is finishing up current modules while also pressing ahead on two new modules with the MiG-23 and F-15E both underway with different artists. The artist for the F-15E’s cockpit has had a chance to fully texture a piece of it now and it’s really coming together. Have a look!
Better than ever
RAZBAM has upped their game with regards to cockpit textures over the last year and a half with the M-2000C and AV-8B receiving major upgrades while their MiG-19 module has had a better cockpit (albeit with a few bugs at first) on release. This is their next premier effort and this looks exceptionally good with the kind of attention to detail that just a few years ago was only really being done by Heatblur and a lesser extent Eagle Dynamics themselves.
Obviously this is just a teaser of what the finished full front cockpit will look like but this is definitely good finding a balance between worn and well maintained.
Of course the F-15E is a two seater and the rear cockpit we haven’t seen anything of just yet. We also don’t know what RAZBAM’s solution to the two seater conundrum will be. Discussion on their Discord suggests that it may not have an AI solution like Jester AI for the F-14 but then again the F-15E is operated differently between front and back seat so it will likely need a different experience.
The F-15E is likely due in 2021 so there’s a ways to go yet for this module from RAZBAM.
