Aerobask shows off stunning update for their Falcon 8X project

The licensed by Dassault Aviation Falcon 8X being created for X-Plane 11 by Aerobask is a magnum opus for the developer and an eagerly awaited addition to the small but growing ‘business jet’ class of aircraft for the sim. It’s been a while since we saw any big updates from the developer but that has changed and we’ve got some great new images to have a look at showing off the cockpit and avionics systems.

Falcon 8X looks more ready than ever

It’s been a long road for the developers at Aerobask but it looks like the hard work is paying off as their Falcon 8X project is starting to show signs of being complete. These new images released show the cabin and many of the now functional or partially functional avionics systems.

There’s a lot of detail there for the Falcon!

One more image was also released, from their developer interface, with a full view of the cockpit instrumentation.

One of Aerobask’s developers also posted another avionics image with explanation of some of the systems, explaining the Auto Speeds tab,

– magenta: active phase

– boxed: modifiable values

– lit: mouse wheel active, click for mkb or keyboard input

– green: default values

– white: modified values
Some are saved between flights, some are restored each time…

No release date. I’ve been tracking progress on their development thread and it’ll be a while yet. I expect once XP12 is out then we’ll see more again.
