Just today I gave the advice in one of the DCS groups that it was likely we’d see DCS: Syria sometime in September or October but my best guess was way off the mark as Eagle Dynamics have just posted an hour ago that DCS: Syria is coming to early access this Wednesday!

DCS: Syria is almost here with Ugra Media’s second DCS World map bringing a new modern theatre to DCS World featuring some of the newest mapping technology available to the series and covering a wide array of terrain types.

We are excited to announce that the DCS: Syria Map will launch into Early Access on Wednesday, August 19, 2020. Ugra Media has put an extraordinary amount of work into this map, and we believe the Syria map videos have shown this. It’s an incredibly varied map with boundless mission opportunities. Upon Early Access release on Wednesday, the 30% discount will end and be replaced with a 20% Early Access period discount. If you wish to take advantage of the 30% savings, you will need to act soon…

If you’re interested in going for early access savings you’ve got a couple more days to get on it. Pre-orders for DCS: Syria are up in the DCS World e-Shop for $34.99 rising to $49.99 at release.

We don’t typically see pre-release sales on Steam so you’ll have to wait until Wednesday. Sometimes they have offered the sale to Steam owners for a short period of time.
