Every year I think it important to take a moment and remember veterans of past conflicts. It’s Remembrance Day for me here in Canada and in many countries around the world. It’s also Veterans Day in the United States. This is meant to be a contemplative and solemn day.
This year, as I do every year, I think back to my family members who were involved in World War II. Some of them lost almost everything and kept on going. In times of good and times of turmoil, it’s important to remember those past struggles and sacrifices.
As we always should. We remember.
Absolutely. Well said and we all fell silent at the bells.

Flight simming has always been a great way to remember, and to get a glimpse of their experiences in the air. It’s humbling after a difficult mission to think that someone needed to carry this out in reality, and that their *lives* depended on it. Salute

Agreed! It gives perspective and knowledge that’s useful to reflect on.

Missed this. Lovely post and thank you for your great efforts in what could be considered – in one way – also a rememberence for those lost airmen.
Also, but of course you used a Tempest shot…
