The DCS: F-14 Tomcat hasn’t been on sale all that much but this weekend it’s getting a relatively substantial 25% off the regular price flash sale. That hasn’t happened much with this module just yet so for those of you sitting on the fence waiting for a bit of a deal on the F-14… now might be the time.
Kicking the tires, lighting the fires
DCS: F-14 is one of the top modules in DCS World with impressive visuals, audio, modeling and fine detailing that flight sim fans love. Now it’s on sale taking the regular price of $79.99 USD down to $59.99 USD. It’s still an expensive module but this is the most affordable it’s been so far.
The semi-recent additions of the F-14A model and a growing list of campaigns for the aircraft have made it highly desirable. Check out my impressions of the F-14B when it released and then the F-14A when it came out as well.

Stormbirds 
I have “a few” DCS modules, and though I like all of them, Tomcat is the one that, by far, gets the most flight time from me.
It’s not super-modern, all digital fly by wire like Hornet (which is my #2 favorite), and while it’s easy and pleasant to fly, it’s not easy to fly WELL.
It’s become my all-time favorite module in any sim, and if you have any reservations about getting it, JUST DO IT.
