New images have emerged on the Heatblur Facebook page showing off the work that Heatblur and TrueGrit are doing together to make the DCS: Eurofighter a reality. The latest images show off a work in progress cockpit with plenty of spectacular visual details. Let’s have a look!
Progressing
Getting the details right is something Heatblur is known for and their team together with the team at TrueGrit are busy bringing the DCS: Eurofighter to life. The collaboration between the teams is being shown in this latest update as we get to see TrueGrit team member Oliver Michel’s work.
The update reports that a mix of photogrammetry and more traditional measurement techniques was used to replicate the exact dimensions of the Eurofighter Typhoon’s cockpit. And it looks stunning! No textures are in place just yet but it looks like the work on the cockpit has really come together.

The update also mentions that the Typhoon is on the roadmap for a release sometime after the F-4 Phantom which Heatblur have recently been emphasizing is really truly coming this year. Either way, I’m excited to see what both team’s are able to show off when this does come to our computers.

That looks tasty!

Be an interesting and lethal addition. Depending on the exact model + and barring something else – it should be the top dog in many areas.
