The developers at 1C Game Studios are once again showing off some new materials and updates in their latest developer update. This time around we’re getting our best look at the C-47 that we’ve ever had, a solid update on the Sopwith Snipe, and our first real look at the Western Front map for Flying Circus. There’s also a few other tidbits in there to mention so lets dive right in.
C-47 and Snipe
Two Collector Planes, in development with 1CGS and with Ugra Media, are seemingly nearing completion and we’ve had our best look at both of them yet. The C-47, long awaited, is looking really good in the latest images casting off some of the obvious in-development pieces and looking quite complete.
Images show both interior and exterior and the cockpit in particular is looking quite good!

We also have a new look at the Sopwith Snipe. This follow-on to the Sopwith Camel made use of the Bentley BR2 rotary engine with a 100hp boost over the Clerget 9B that the Camel had. The result is quite a hot little fighter and here again we have new screenshots that are looking quite good.

Western Front Map
The Western Front Map looks like it will offer a definitive experience for Flying Circus fans. We’ve not really had the opportunity to see much of this map, beyond a few landmarks, up to this point. This new update gives us our first screenshots of the map in action.
We’ve also learned that the technology for this map is the same that we’ve seen with Normandy’s map. Visually it certainly looks to be about on par with the latest from Normandy.
There’s also mention of the map having both QMB and multiplayer access with Career mode also getting a mention. Flying Circus Career mode is still on the way which is great news. One thing not explicitly mentioned? AQMB. Hopefully we’ll see that feature implemented here too.

That’s a pretty juicy dev update with a bunch of items covered that most of us have been curious about for a while now. Read the whole update right here!
