We’ve got a brand new video from Matt Wagner giving us a summary of some upcoming updates for Eagle Dynamics’ DCS: F-16C Viper. The video covers a number of new and updated features for the jet.
New features
Although looking increasingly put together, DCS: F-16C is still in early access and still is picking up new features. This latest video is wide ranging covering everything from the helmet sight to updated CCIP calculations. In the HMCS there’s now an ACM BORE mode letting you lock the radar on a target using that method. There’s now a connected mode between the A-G radar and the TGP so you can slew either one and it will slew both. The AGM-65D now has a corrected handoff on moving targets too. Finally, there’s a secondary function for the engine which runs the engine at reduced RPM – Matt demonstrates what that looks like on the ground.
There’s also mention of corrected tail numbers. So that’s encouraging too!
Check it all out in the latest update.
