Wolfpack345 is back again with a new DCS: Black Shark 3 tutorial video and this time its teaching us how to use the ODS – onboard defense system.

Greater missile awareness

This new feature for the Ka-50 with Black Shark 3 adds additional missile awareness with the Ka-50. The display will give positions of nearby missiles and launches giving you greater awareness of missile threats than ever before.

The mode can be set to manual or automatic countermeasure dispensing too which in some instance might be critical for your survival.

    Love it. The missile warning screen on the ABRIS looks great.

    I’d like to see the BS3 come out tomorrow but I have a feeling any possible update will be next Friday.
