A quick tip that I learned about through the latest Microsoft Flight Simulator developer update is a fun Easter Egg like feature that has been added with City Update III: Texas. You can get fourth of July fireworks if you plug in the correct settings.

Here’s what you need to do!

This is a fun one and I love to share these sorts of things that you can do in the sim. To get a fourth of July fireworks show you need to first have downloaded the City Update III: Texas update to Microsoft Flight Simulator.

Next, set your date for July 4, 2023 and the time of day to 10:00 pm local time. That should set off the fireworks in major US cities. I did try New York and not see any fireworks but Huston definitely did work.
