PILOT’S provides Dash 7, B-314 future plans

PILOT’S GeshmbH have provided a lengthy update for their Dash 7 and B-314 for Microsoft Flight Simulator. They are also laying out plans for their time at FSExpo and for what they plan to do after. Let’s have a look!

Xbox release, FSEXpo planning, more

PILOT’S have provided a substantial update on what their plans are for the future. The near term plan involves bringing both their B-314 and their Dash 7 aircraft to release on Xbox. Both are already available on PC but now they are working to release on the Xbox platform. The Dash 7 is first planned for arrival to Xbox with the somewhat less popular B-314 coming after.

The company also plan to release two airports to support the Dash 7 with real world locations that the type has flown into. Tioman Island (WMBT) in Malaysia is one airport with the location formerly being serviced by Berjaya Air’s Dash 7s. They don’t fly the type anymore but PILOT’S report that the location is a great challenge to fly into and uniquely suited to the Dash7.

The second airport Prairie Creek (CBH4) located in Northwest Territories in Canada. It’s a gateway airport for a local zinc mine and is currently being served by Air Tindi and its another spectacular place to land the Dash 7.

PILOT’S are also planning to head to Yellowknife after FSExpo and connect with Air Tindi directly. They report that they are going to be gathering as much information as possible on Dash 7 cargo ops as well as record new sounds for a comprehensive future update on the Dash coming at the end of 2024 or in 2025.
