Third party developer Parallel42 has just released a new blog post talking about their efforts to continue to update their FreedomFox and Fox 2 bushplanes for Microsoft Flight Simulator. New content, new flight model updates, and some new features that match the real world FreedomFox are now available. Let’s have a look!
Big updates

Parallel42 are making some big updates on their FreedomFox and Fox 2 bushplanes for Microsoft Flight Simulator. The aircraft was released not too long after the launch of the sim and has seen an evolution over time but this latest update is probably one of the biggest.
The new features in the package include a new Fox 2 variant with analogue instruments only, there’s a new Competition Variant with reduced weight and performance tuned and the flight model has now been tuned using the CFD flight model tools within MSFS.
There’s also some FreedomFox specific updates that keeps it in line with the real airplane, owned by YouTuber Trent Palmer. There’s a new Trent Palmer Hangar, and a new Smoke system that matches one installed recently on the airplane.
They also report a number of fixes and improvements across all of the products.
Parallel42 offers a complete pack with the FreedomFox, the Fox2 (in 6 configurations and 33 liveries), and four scenery elements including the FFOX Desert Oasis, 42BC Bush Plane Campout, 42MX Mexican Mountain and 432MW Mount Patterson Camps. That comes to $35 USD in the bundle.
The update is available from the Parallel42 website and will eventually be available on Orbx, Contrail and the Marketplace. Read more about it here!
