Microsoft Flight Simulator developer AzuryPoly has released two batches of screen shots over the last several weeks all featuring their next project – recreating the SEPECAT Jaguar. They are worth a look so let’s check them out and see where the project is heading.
New images, new status update
AzurPoly flew under my radar for a while until they did their excellent C-160 Transall transport aircraft for Microsoft Flight Simulator. Now they are busy doing a Jaguar A model and they are reporting that exterior and interior modeling is now at 99% complete.
You can see for yourself with these lovely screenshots!

Other work they are doing includes an animated pilot specially created for the Jaguar with accurate French Air Force flight suits and equipment.
Meanwhile the refueling probe is also ready to go as they are intending to make sure the module is compatible with TouchingCloud’s Airshow Assistant and its new aircraft refueling feature (seen in a couple of screenshots).
The team reported earlier in the summer that they are working with Musée Européen de l’Aviation de Chasse to get 3D scans and take a large quantity of photos to support the details that they want to get for the project. It’s certainly paying off!
All very impressive! Keep an eye on the AzurPoly Facebook page for future updates.
And yes, before anyone says it… I’d love to see the Jaguar in DCS World too! What a cool airplane!
