There’s a small update that has just come out for the recently released Fw 200 for Microsoft Flight Simulator. It addresses a few issues although not the one I was hoping they would solve. Let’s have a quick look!

A small update

I was generally quite impressed by the Fw 200 for Microsoft Flight Simulator. This four engine airliner represents the pre-war variant of the wartime maritime patrol and reconnaissance plane. There were a few issues with the airplane and the latest update has solved some of them:

  • Fixed engine sound problems.
  • Landing Light can now be switched off.
  • Fuel can now be drained from 100% to 0% for each tank within 6 minutes.
  • Sound: The looping noise at distance has been reduced in volume for both AI and player aircraft.
  • Sound: Audio levels on engines 2 and 3 are now more equalized to engines 1 and 4.

The one thing I wanted to see was a fix for the engine propeller discs which were far too dark and, when viewed through each other, became excessively dark.

One response to “Local Legend 19: Fw 200 gets an update”

  1. You gotten any of the USA, France, Germany, etc. 1935 and the airports? They’re very well made and a lot of the NW U.S. airports like Boise, LA, Seattle and Salt Lake have been added.

Love flying the DC-3 and 307 into them! I’ll get the Fw-200 and Germany 1935 pack when I get the chance.
