A short delay has just been announced by Aerosoft on the release of their CRJ v2 for Microsoft Flight Simulator. This is the current situation.

A week delay

Announced last week that the CRJ V2 was coming this week, Aerosoft have announced via their Discord server that there will be a one week delay.

Here’s what they said:

We would like to inform you that the CRJ v2 update has been delayed by one week. The new release date is April 1st. This is to ensure the best possible quality and that the update ships with as few issues as possible, including some you may have seen in the preview streams/videos this weekend.

Preview editions of the airliner have gone out to several content creators and they have been releasing videos and streams over the last week.

A variety of issues have been spotted during these previews. Twitching wingtips in turbulence, autopilot LNAV issues, trim issues, and more.

The delay will hopefully enable the developer(s) to address these issues and come out with a solid release.

Interesting, glad they caught the issues prior to release. Are any more streams coming?

  2. Well, you only have one shot at a good first impression, even for an updated version of a product, right? They are best to take their time in order to get it right.
