The folks at A2A Simulations have become well known over a decade of flight sim development for crafting some very high quality releases and they have just announced that their long in development Aerostar project is now about to enter early access. Here’s what we know.

Coming in July

Back in July 2020, A2A announced that they were doing an Aerostar 600 for Microsoft Flight Simulator. The developer excited a lot of people with the announcement, however, things went quiet for a lengthy period of time. The company would ultimately switch gears and release their very well regarded Accu-Sim Comanche 250 for MSFS instead.

Now we’ve learned, five years later, Aerostar is indeed coming to the sim this July. A2A write a little about the challenges they faced:

Development has taken longer than expected due to a combination of business demands and personal challenges, but the result is an exceptional aircraft that we’re incredibly proud of. With most systems and features already complete, the Aerostar enters early access in a late beta stage, with only a few areas still being refined and polished.

A2A’s previous releases have been highly regarded so Aerostar has a lot to live up to. Stay tuned for more from the company as we come up onto launch!

  1. I wish they would give us a Hawker Hurricane. In the past, they did a b-17, a p-47, and a Spitfire.

Please! Let me have my favourite WWII plane!

Also, you spelled “quiet” as “quite” in the second paragraph.

An A2A Hurricane would surely be an incredible project. Let’s hope they do one day.

      Thanks for the typo fix!
