At first glance, Carenado’s latest Cessna product is the usual experience from the flight sim company. They have, however, thrown a slightly more interesting concept that deviates from the norm with their new ‘RealXperience.’ Yes, its a bit of marketing hype but it is a notable move forward for the company. Let’s have a look and see what they did.
Fly higher, faster, and shake things up a bit

The Cessna 210 Centurion looks quite a bit like other Cessna aircraft but it does have a few tricks up its sleeve. Powered by a turbocharged Continental TSIO-520-AF engine with 310 horsepower, fitted with a retractable gear system, and capable of a maximum speed of 204 knots at 17,000 feet and a service ceiling of 27,000 feet, this is not your average Cessna.
By the same token, Carenado have decided to do things a little different with this release as well. Not your average Carenado release either. RealXperience is what the company is calling it and its adding a little extra depth to the experience, particularly around some of the visuals of the aircraft, that takes advantage of some still new MSFS 2024 features.

Starting up the aircraft will cause the attitude go through a realistic gyro spin-up process. Needles on the aircraft will realistically shake with the engine vibration. Landing on rough airstrips will cause mud to build up on the underside of the airplane and dirt and bug impacts will slowly build up on the outside of the aircraft.
See the example video for a bit more context.
Does this dramatically increase the realism of Carenado aircraft? I don’t think it propels them into the same category as a Just Flight or Black Square and certainly not in the A2A realm. On the other side of the coin, its a move forward, it shakes things up, and it adds some new realism features that help with immersion. Not a bad thing from the looks of it.
As a mainline Carenado release, this aircraft also comes with the company’s tablet system which is now integrated with the MSFS 2024 EFB. Among other things, it has the ability to hot swap avionics with support for the TDS GTN 750/650 and PMS GTN 750/650.
The Carenado CT210N is available exclusively through the MSFS Marketplace for $19.99 USD. It also appears to be available exclusively for MSFS 2024 – another indication that the marketplace is slowly moving to the new sim.
