Feeling like flying some charter flights to a fictional theme park? It has dinosaurs you say? Ok! Orbx have revealed Jurassic World: Archipelago for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. Let’s have a look!

Dinosaurs come to MSFS 2024

The folks at Orbx have revealed that their latest project is a movie tie-in simply titled Jurassic World: Archipelago. The project is part airport pack, part scenery pack and part wildlife pack offered as a kind of adventure in Microsoft Flight Simulator.

The archipelago includes Isla Nublar, Isla Matanceros, Isla Peña, Isla Sorna, Isla Muerta and Isla Tacaño. It also includes the real world Herradura Bay Marina and Juan Santamaría
Intl. Airport (MROC).

The teaser trailer reveals tropical islands with dinosaurs (are those Pterodactyl?) flying above them. Orbx haven’t revealed the full package but it sounds like activities, locations, and plenty of possible scenarios can be explored by flying over this world or getting out of your plane and walking around. Should be a boon for both bush flyers and helicopter enthusiasts in particular.

      1. To be honest, more just to zoom around them. I think I’d feel really bad doing in a dino. Unless it was a real *****, then it’s Mk-84s all day long.

Haha true enough! It sounds like you should be able to zoom around these dinosaurs in MSFS. I’m curious to see what they have on offer… I may even pick it up if its fun looking. Though those PNG bushstrips are calling my name too!
