If light sport aircraft is your think, Got Friends might have something for you. Their new Aeroprakt A-32 Vixxen brings this Ukranian designed sport aircraft to life. It’s got a bit of bush plane in it, a light sport aircraft at heart, and quite a bit of potential for fun. Let’s have a look.

Got Friends have done some really interesting aircraft. From the weird ones, like the Double Ender, a warbird with the F4F-4 Wildcat, bushplanes like the Wilga 35/80 and gliders like the AS 33 Me. Their next effort is the A-32 Vixxen sport plane and they’ve packed a bunch of features in.

The aircraft is available natively for both MSFS 2020 and 2024 (all with a single purchase), it comes with high resolution textures and detailed sounds, both glass cockpit and analogue controls are available and the aircraft comes in Cruiser, Explorer, Pioneer and Voyager trims. What does that mean? Basically there’s a glass cockpit version with standard tires (complete with wheel pants) and one with tundra tires meant for more bushplane like operations. Then you have the Analogue cockpit variant with the same wheel options.,

The company worked with Heavenbound Aviation who fly the A-32 in rural Ohio. Their McKnight Airfield (5OI8) is also part of the package.

The aircraft is $25ish USD (it’s $36 CDN for me as shown by their webstore) and is available on both the Got Friends and Contrail webstores.

  1. Thanks for pointing this one out!

I’d never heard of the plane.

It seems perfect for low level STOL flights and landings on unprepared fields. I picked it up and will be trying it soon!

    1. Glad to hear it! Got Friends do some really great work and my experiences with the A-32 so far (check out my Journal) have been very fun. Review inbound but if you’re in the market for something like this aircraft, this fits in beautifully!
