The 60% upgrade offers for PMDG 737NG line continue today with the release of the 737-600. The aircraft has been upgraded for use with Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 and is now available for purchase through the PMDG website and will soon be available on the Marketplace. Let’s check out the news!

Short, zippy, well priced

The PMDG 737-600 is the best priced full fidelity airliner on the Microsoft Flight Simulator platform coming in at just $34.99 USD. It has the same system fidelity as the other models though it doesn’t come with as many options (there’s no business jet version, no cargo version, no extended range version, etc.). It’s still the cheapest way to experience this kind of airliner. The -600 also has the benefit of being higher performance than its larger siblings so it can potentially take you into some more unique airports.

For veterans who owned the previous version in MSFS 2020, PMDG are once again offering 60% off which comes in at $14 USD to upgrade. It’s expected to show up on the Marketplace soon though we don’t know exactly when that will be.

Check it out on the PMDG website here.

  1. I saw someone post that the 736 seems to have noticeably better FPS than the others…?

That’d be cool, though I’d think it wouldn’t really be possible. I’ll have to compare to the 738 once I get this one upgraded, too.

    1. I’ve spent about 5-6 hours with the 737-900 so far and just 10 minutes with the -600 (but that may change over the weekend). I hadn’t noticed any FPS difference between those two but I’ll check and see. I would think they were all basically the same.
