Another Just Flight and Thranda Design partnership has resulted in the release of the Cessna 152 (or C152) for X-Plane 12. The update to the aircraft follows similar efforts across the PA-28 fleet as well as other aircraft released for earlier editions of X-Plane.

A Cessna classic arrives

Built using real world aircraft plans, photography of real aircraft, and using 8K textures, X-Plane 12 native rain effects, and other XP12 native features, the Thranda and Just Flight C152 releases following a series of successful partnership releases over the last couple of years.

The aircraft features six liveries plus the dynamic livery generator supplied by Thranda which lets you use three authentic styles and gives you the ability to apply your own colour schemes.

A custom dedicated EFB adds lets you manage aircraft systems (fuel, oil, balance, battery, and other maintenance items) including custom spark plug fouling.

The aircraft is $42.99 USD and is available from Just Flight on their store here.

  1. I remember when you could get an hour in a real 152 for that price!

I’m actually pretty happy with the default 152, but I only have a couple dozen hours in the real thing, and that was forever ago. I bet someone who’s a lot more familiar with it would really appreciate the JF/Thranda version.

That’s one more plane out of the way for them to bring the Duchess to MSFS (I hope!)
