An update has been shared with the DCS community through the High Alpha Hooligans with word that Eagle Dynamics Senior Producer Matt “Wags” Wagner has been diagnosed with cancer and will be stepping away from his duties working with the Eagle Dynamics community for some time.

The news, broken by FiFi from High Alpha Hooligans, was conveyed to the channel directly through Matt Wagner who asked them to share. The message has been rippling across the DCS World community through the day.
Matt has been a pillar of Eagle Dynamics and DCS World over the course of decades of sim development. His tutorial series, published on his YouTube channel, have been great ways to provide both overviews of new incoming features while also acting as authoritative sources for training and understanding.
According to the video, Matt is in good spirits, is otherwise healthy, and is focused on fighting bone marrow cancer.
