A short developer update from DCS World third party developer Octopus G has just come out in the last day with an overview video showing off the aircraft’s most recent updates. Those include electrical changes and a 3D pilot addition to the cockpit. Let’s have a look!

Lavochkin update

There’s a few showcased updates coming with DCS: La-7. It starts with a 3D model of the pilot in the cockpit. Then it switches over to a more complete model of the aircraft’s electrical systems. The video shows how the electrical systems interact with the batter charging and discharging based on various loads on the system. Really neat to see that side-by-side!

Also cool to see what happens when you discharge the battery altogether and the instruments go dead. Woops!
