A recent uptick in social media posts and teases from iniBuilds and Synaptic Simulations suggests that their long awaited A220 project may finally be on final approach. An announcement, coming out today, shares that the developer will be hosting an official showcase on July 15.

A220 ready to go?

If all indications are correct, it seems like iniBuilds and Synaptic Simulations are about to launch the A220 for Microsoft Flight Simulator. The project, starting out in the early days as a freeware project before morphing into a more fully featured payware and picking up iniBuilds for support and publishing, has been long awaited as fans of the Airbus A220 (or the C-Series for some of us!) have patiently waited for one to come to the sim.

The showcase is likely to give us our clearest indication yet of when this project intends to launch with rumours swirling that it could be any day now.
