It won’t be long now for those waiting on Heatblur’s DCS: F-14B(U) release for DCS World. Heatblur have taken the wraps off of the manual and are launching more training aids ahead of a launch that is likely coming up soon. Let’s have a look!
Essential reading for the Tomcat (upgraded)
Pulling from their work with the DCS: F-4E Phantom, Heatblur have launched an updated web version of the DCS: F-14 manual which now includes DCS: F-14B(U) specific segments. The updates are accessible now via web browser and will also be available from within DCS World using the contextual help system.

Heatblur have the updated DCS: F-14 manual available on the web here or you can download (and print) the PDF version available via GitHub here. I highly recommend spending some time getting to know how some of the systems work and how they interconnect with Jester via the command wheel system before setting out in the upgraded jet.
There are plenty of videos now floating around about how to do different things in the DCS: F-14B(U) now as well and Heatblur are specifically highlighting this video from Baltic Dragon who was involved in making many of the missions and training missions. This session will be essential for those of you wanting to use the F-14B(U) in its role as a bombtruck. Have a look!
