We don’t always hear from Fenix Simulations but when we do its usually a big information sharing event and that’s exactly what has happened with a new video from the developer. The big announcement A320ceo is getting some significant updates across the entirety of the product. Let’s go!

Fenix flying in with a new A320ceo

In the obviously GTA 6 styled thumbnail and trailer introduction by MrSaturday530, Fenix Simulations is back with a nearly 2 hour long overview of the extensive changes that have been made to their Fenix A320ceo product line.

The entire product appears to have been given an overhaul with updated flight model, ground handling, revised art on the inside and out, new physics based effects on cockpit pieces (check out the EFB wiggle during landing), ECAM, FADEC and autopilot refinements abound! The aircraft’s cabin management system is now fully simulated and a virtual purser have been added to the feature list. The audio also seems to have been entirely redone with new binaural soundscape and a new headset option while in the cockpit realistically reducing certain frequencies while keeping others.

The update to V3 is a free one so if you’ve already got the Fenix A320, you’re set to go with this new significant overhaul of the product line. The update also applies to the A319/321 series as well. The release is expected next week, between October 19 and 23.

The A320neo gets a few mentions sprinkled throughout the video though the focus is certainly on the A320ceo line-up. A lot of changes to the A320ceo appear to be in-keeping with what is being done with the A320neo as well so you can consider a lot of these changes to be previews of what we can expect there too.
