Aircraft and scenery developers iniBuilds are working on their Global Jet business jet (based on a Bombardier Global 6000) for Microsoft Flight Simulator and have decided to jump further into the business aviation experience by adding a custom FBO system to select scenery packages to go with your business jet of choice. Let’s have a look.

Immersive scenery options

Featuring a healthy dose of visual previews for the iniBuilds Global Jet, Global FBOs brings custom FBO (Fixed Base Operator) experiences to select iniBuilds scenery packs.

The Global FBO features detailed exterior and interior scenery (with restaurant, bar, games room, etc.), custom sounds and music, and a dedicated business jet and general aviation apron. The scenery plugs into other iniBuilds scenery products with its own specific location and bespoke taxiway connections. Unlike what FSReborn has done (where you can place an FBO anywhere), this is more fixed into specific spots within custom scenery.

Ten airports in the iniBuild scenery collection will work with the iniFBO offering:

  • Dubai International Airport
  • John F. Kennedy International Airport, New York
  • Hamad International Airport, Doha
  • London Heathrow Airport
  • Innsbruck Airport
  • Ibiza Airport
  • Chicago O’Hare International Airport
  • Palm Springs International Airport
  • Dallas Fort Worth International Airport
  • Hong Kong International Airport

The update indicates that they intend to expand this to other iniBuilds airports later.

iniBuild says that you can install and remove it from your scenery through their iniBuilds store interface and have provided an example of it in action.

If you like business jet aviation and want a more dedicated FBO experience, this might work well for you adding a bit more of a personalized experience. On the other hand, it will undoubtedly stand out from otherwise real world based scenery packs so some may not want to see that on their scenery. The choice will be yours.

No indication of what the pricing is for this or when it will arrive other than “soon.” More to come.
