Taking a poll like this doesn’t automatically guarantee what feature is implemented next. Technical difficulties, coding priorities, dependent pieces of code, and art assets are just some of the things that drive development forward on something like this. That said, Eagle Dynamics really do want to gauge what the community is most interested in and a poll is not a bad way to get some of that feedback.

Right now, the HARM anti-radiation missile is in the lead with 24.73% of the vote. In a close second is the ATFLIR targeting pod with the air-to-ground radar as third place.

With the Hornet’s recently bulked up air-to-air capabilities, it seems that players are now turning to the Hornet’s ground pounding potential. Though air-to-air is by no means finished (“A/A Radar TWS/RAID/AZ EL/LTWS” is in fourth place) it does seem that the player base focus is shifting.
