New updates are inbound for the DCS: Persian Gulf map featuring new airports and some key landmarks in the region and these updates are coming November 21st.
Racetracks and runways

Quite a few new airports and airfields are due in this next update. According to this post by NineLine from Eagle Dynamics, there are 7 new airports spread out around the central and southern parts of the map including some new island airport options. These airports and airfields are listed as:
- Kish Island airfield
- Al Bateen airfield
- Lavan Island airfield
- Al Ain airfield
- Bandar-e-Jask airfield
- Abu Dhabi International Airport
- Sas Al Nakheel airfield
There is also the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center, the Yas Viceroy hotel, the Formula 1 racetrack and the F1 theme park that has been constructed in that area all being added to the map.
It’s not a bad collection of new content for this map that has been out and already in very good shape for months now. I like the idea of Eagle Dynamics continuing to add value to Persian Gulf.
Comes on the heels of other new content
We’ve also recently seen the recent addition of the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque and the Aldar Headquarters building which are now on the Persian Gulf map inside
Abu Dhabi city limits. Worth checking out if you haven’t seen them already!
