Heatblur’s Episode 1 of DCS: F-14 Tomcat is online

Third party DCS World developer Heatblur has released the first in what will be a series of videos going in-depth on the DCS: F-14 Tomcat coming in winter of 2019. Though the first video may only be an overview, it is an indication of the impending release of some additional in-depth material that will help with things like start-up, weapons employment, and all the rest.

Getting an overview

This first episode gives us an overview of the new DCS: F-14 Tomcat with a broad overview of what the F-14 Tomcat is all about, some of the features, and some gorgeous video to go with it. This video talks about the current and future plans for Heatblur’s F-14 module as well with the F-14A, F-14B and suggesting that Heatblur also hopes to do a F-14A modification meant to be used with the Iranian Air Force.

Though this episode is very surface level, the next episode is directed at the start-up procedure for the F-14 and additional follow-up episodes will be directed at individual features.

Check it out and keep an eye out for more!

    Marketing done right.

Perfect amount of “thank you” to all supporters. Perfect amount of information about the plane and as always a bit of spice about “that movie we all recall when talking about the Tomcat”

    Waiting for the next video.

Haha, yes, that was probably a bit too much. But it can’t hurt I suppose 😉

Love the vibrations with the whole aircraft structure shuddering in some manoeuvres. I hope the AI is a good pal, a lot hinges on that for single, asocial players with incompatible time patterns like me 😉 I liked what I saw in an earlier showcase, the Jester painstakingly typing in coordinates. They do care about immersion, that’s for sure.

On another note, it seems Razbam’s MiG-19 is very close to completion! They’ve posted an update of the feature status, of course not everything is listed but what’s there is mostly done. Rumours and speculations can be unleashed! 😀
