Get ready for F-14 teasers

Third party DCS World developer Heatblur reported a few days ago that teasers have gone out to some select YouTubers who will be offering up some teasers and gameplay footage of the DCS: F-14 module early in the new year. We now have a first tease of that.

Pre-release hype

A conversation on the Eagle Dynamics forums with Cobra847 has revealed that Heatblur has distributed pre-release copies of the F-14 to some YouTubers.

The first out of the gate, sort of it, is Jabbers who did a funny “goodbye” to his DCS: F/A-18C and some funny banter with Jester in his new DCS: F-14. Good for a laugh but the real news is that we’ll be seeing much more of the DCS: F-14 in the very near future (I would assume the embargo will drop sometime early in the new year).

Stay tuned and keep an eye out for all sorts of new DCS: F-14 content coming very soon.

No confirmed information but I wouldn’t be shocked if we started seeing stuff after January 1st or perhaps the week after at the latest.

Good while i think it was criminal not to release this airplane for Christmas i can respect them sticking with their guns about being as complete as possible …. note that whatever was ready at Xmas was a fair sight more than almost every other team has release so far so i thought a little give would be good. especially since the customers would have had the holiday season with a fair bit of downtime for almost everyone to learn the aircraft. now we are going to get it during the Catch up time when everyone is scrambling to get back on track. so yes im happy you think it will be soon as i think they made a tactical error over what might have been a minor glitch or one weapon system with an issue
