Baltic Dragon has announced a brand new DCS World campaign in collaboration with two former Hornet pilots from The Fighter Pilots Podcast and based on the novel “Raven One.”
Experts aplenty
This campaign announcement brings with it a lot of interesting details and plenty of talent.
Baltic Dragon himself is no stranger to DCS World mission and campaign development and is well known for his The Enemy Within campaign for the DCS: A-10C. He’s also responsible for dozens of other missions for the DCS series over the years.
Working with Baltic Dragon are three experts in the field of Hornet and naval aviation. Two former Hornet pilots, Jell-o and Sunshine from the Fighter Pilot Podcast (FPP), will be cooperating on development alongside Kevin Miller who is the author of “Raven One” and a 24-year veteran of naval aviation.
Hornet’s over the Gulf
This new campaign will take us to the Persian Gulf (requiring the DCS: Persian Gulf map) for a tense hypothetical scenario. Baltic Dragon reports that the campaign will feature a minimum of 15-missions many of which will recreate events from the novel.
I will be following development of this campaign closely. The Hornet and the Persian Gulf together are a great backdrop for a in-depth campaign and it looks like Baltic Dragon is going to fill that nicely.
I’m looking forward to this.

Just the LGBs and none of the other bombs? I haven’t really done much with the LGBs yet but some folks were having trouble with bombs in general due to some changes to the fuze settings (actually just enabling them). See if Matt Wagner’s video helps: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=biCzBuPh5DM
