1CGS has released just over a dozen new screenshots for the forthcoming Achtung Spitfire! campaign by IL-2 third party group ‘The Syndicate.’ Let’s check out the new screenshots!

Though Spitfire’s saw limited combat with the Soviet Union, just over a hundred Spitfire’s were used over the Kuban region making the fighter an interesting Collector Plane choice for IL-2: Battle of Kuban.

The Syndicate has put together the first IL-2 single player Scripted Campaign using a Collector Plane and it’s an interesting test to see if people will buy the campaign in the same numbers that other aircraft typically get.

Achtung Spitfire! is available for $12.99 on the IL-2 web store and is expected to be released in the next IL-2 patch – possibly coming sometime in September. More information on the release date when it becomes available.
