Third party aircraft maker IndiaFoxtEcho has an ambitious roadmap laid out that they say will cover their plans for the rest of the year and into next year as well. Listing both MSFS and DCS projects, it looks like they will have plenty of new aircraft content for interested parties. Let’s have a look at what they are doing!
DCS aircraft on the way
IndiaFoxtEcho have two DCS aircraft announced. The DCS: MB-339 and the DCS: G-91. They also specifically included a disclaimer saying that they have ideas for other DCS projects but that they are only listing projects that they have a contract with Eagle Dynamics for development so take of that what you will.
The MB-339 is the most complete and the update says that they are doing final testing and implementing multi-crew. I suspect we’ll see this coming up on the Eagle Dynamics store relatively soon.
The G-91 is earlier in the process right now and 3D modeling and texturing of the cockpit is underway. I suspect this one still has a long way to go. Given how long it took the 339 to be developed it seems possible that this will be a 2023 release.

Plenty of MSFS projects too
Over on the Microsoft Flight Simulator side, there’s plenty of activity as well. Their recently released F-35 is set to pick up a major flight model update as the team is actively modeling the FCS (flight control system) which should increase the realism for the jet fighter.
The acrobatic Su-31 has been in development for a while. The devs report that they are still not fully satisfied with the flight model but that it should be good enough for release soon. Projected release date is end of March.
Coming no sooner than April is the Aermacchi M-346 advanced jet trainer. The team is still working on animations and upgrading their 3D model from the original P3D version that they made. Work is apparently ongoing with the avionics too.
Two new projects were listed that we haven’t heard them talk about previously. First, a Eurofighter Typhoon is in the works and a 3D model was shown off for the first time. And second, an F-14D Super Tomcat is also being worked on. The project is considered experimental at this point as it features a higher resolution mesh than their other aircraft projects, higher resolution textures, and apparently performance has suffered some from taking this approach. This would also go head to head with another F-14 (from DC Designs) should it release.
Other projects are being examined right now or in early stages which include the MB-326, M-345, TA-4/ A-4 Skyhawk, Mini 500 helicopter, E-2C Hawkeye, and a C-27J Spartan. Not all of these are in full development but they are being actively considered.
All in all, it’s clear that these developers have no intent on slowing down in 2022 and we should see a year of releases from IndiaFoxtEcho across both MSFS and DCS. For more news and updates be sure to check out their Facebook page.
