DCS: F1 delayed one more day

Everyone waiting for the new DCS World open beta patch to come today with DCS: F1 from Aerges are going to unfortunately have to wait one more day. Here are the details!

Patch delay

It’s not uncommon for DCS World patches to see a short delay, however, this one will be more visible than most. It was expected that the Mirage F1 from Aerges would release today alongside the latest Open Beta. That unfortunately will not happen as an issue has been found with the open beta.

I turn to Eagle Dynamics community manager BigNewy to fill in the details.

A follow-up comment confirms that it’s a frame rate/performance issue.

Undoubtedly there will be a new build and test today to ensure that things are working the way they should be. With luck, everything will be working correctly and the Mirage F1 along with the latest open beta will be out tomorrow.

Keep an eye on this thread on the DCS World forums to see what the latest open beta patch status is.

One day is fine. Still annoying though, probably not the best habit to delay the day of haha. I’m sure people would throw a fit if it were the F-15E.

These things happen. DCS World open beta patches get delayed by a day or two all the time but only with a big release like today does the visibility go up.

It could happen with the F-15E too 🙂
