MSFS needs more balloons you say? HPG has the answer!

The folks at Hype Performance Group (HPG) will be releasing a hot air balloon for Microsoft Flight Simulator on October 7th via their website. If you were wondering when a balloon would show up, you now have the answer. Here are some details!

The HPG Hot Air Balloon

Coming to us on the HPG website exclusively, the HPG Hot Air Balloon was announced a couple of days ago on multiple channels including here on the MSFS forums. Releasing tomorrow, October 7, the balloon will cost $15 USD.

For the price, you’ll get a highly detailed 3d model, 4K PBR textures, 17 liveries, animations for inflation, deflation, stall and collapse, animated 3D humans, VR support, steam gauges, a hot air balloon model, immersive sounds, and even other AI flown HPG Hot Air Balloons on demand.

There’s also a trailer that you can watch.

Keep an eye on the HPG website for the release!

This is brilliant. I will have a low maintenance screen saver slash flying webcam slash world tour running on a personal laptop next to my work laptop.

This is actually very intriguing. I have a fear of heights (but not of flying!) and I know that for me going up in a balloon would be too scary, but in flight sim? I’d love to give it a try.

I might grab it. I have the HPG145 and it’s a fantastic chopper. As far as balloons go, I’m sure this will be very nice. 🙂
