A teaser trailer on the RAZBAM YouTube channel has revealed pre-order details for the highly anticipated and long awaited DCS: F-15E Strike Eagle. RAZBAM were not kidding when they said that 2023 was going to be the year of the Strike Eagle!

Pre-order revealed

RAZBAM have been saying for a few weeks that the DCS: F-15E Strike Eagle would be released sometime this year and that 2023 would be the year of the Strike Eagle. Well it looks like we’ll have most of the year to enjoy it because RAZBAM have just confirmed a pre-order for the long awaited module.

The trailer, released just a few minutes ago at time of writing, reveals at the end that the pre-order begins February 3rd.

At this point we don’t yet know when the release is going to happen, however, it does appear that release of the module is imminent. Pricing is not yet confirmed either.

Rumours have been swirling that the aircraft would be released mid February although I’ve not yet been able to get a confirmation on where the rumour originated. It does become somewhat more credible now thanks to this official trailer from RAZBAM. Wait to get some more confirmation on that.

More as it develops!

    2. Shamrock had it before it was released, thus breaking the Space-Time continuum.

      I…..well….I suppose I might buy it…

  2. Have you seen the detailed damage model of the MiG-23 taxiing on the tarmac?

I haven’t seen it from any of my usual sources.

      1. In Razbams video at 0:12, the airfield attack, you can see MiG-23’s and it looks like an interesting more detailed damage model 🙂

      2. I’ve had a very close look at it and I don’t think this is the RAZBAM model. It has the same textures and appearance as the current AI model.

I don’t think theirs has reached full engine integration yet.

  3. Gotta love the hype. “In only three-weeks you will be able to give us all your money and then wait for an undetermined amount of time to receive what you paid for.”

And of course I will pre-order it as soon as it pops up. 🙂

    2. And even when you receive what you paid for, it’s not even complete as it’s an early access release. So indeed, much hype. I’ll have more restraint and just wait for the early access to see if the hype is worth it. But it’s looking good.
I hope that will be mid February, so I’ll have some time to dive into this before my second offspring is born (expected at the end of March), that will reduce my sim time for a while.

  5. I cannot wait to see how often this strike aircraft flies OCA/CAP/DCA in DCS – it’s going to be a great show!

And I’m sure I’ll be one of them from time to time 🙂
