Another big DCS World open beta update has arrived and this one comes packed full of updates across the entirety of the sim and helps launch a couple of new campaigns plus the Mirage F1EE. Let’s have a look!
Aerges launches the F1EE!
Of the four planned variants of the Mirage F1 announced by Aerges for DCS World, we are now at a total of two thanks to the launch today of the Mirage F1EE. This new version of the Mirage F1 gives us a variant with some additional capabilities beyond the simpler and earlier Mirage F1CE. The EE adds a new ALR-300 RWR for better situational awareness of nearby radars, an air-to-air refuelling probe for lengthier sorties, and an inertial navigation system for more precise navigation and targeting.
The already available Mirage F1CE also benefits from a series of overall improvements across the versions of the airplane. There are bug fixes across the entire product, flight model tweaks, new systems features, and the possibility of causing an engine fire if the throttle is moved to idle before the RPM reaches 300, and more.
The improved Super Matra S530F is also now available adding to the fighter’s radar guided missile punch.

F-14 fans have a brand new campaign from Reflected Simulations and Commander “Paco” Chierici. This campaign features 10 training missions based on a real world training syllabus followed up by 6 additional combat scenarios over the Marianas.

MAD AH-64D Campaign by Stone Sky
A campaign is now out for the DCS: AH-64D by Stone Sky. 12 missions with a special operations theme has you flying over the Persian Gulf map during a challenging geopolitical situation.
This time you are an officer of the UAE Air Force, with Bedouin ancestry; a pilot of the Special Operations Squadron – Captain Khalid Al-Mansouri. You will take part in a series of interesting campaigns; MAD – Mutual Assured Destruction. Detailed and high-quality work from Stone Sky will once again surprise you.

Other updates
DCS Open Beta 2.8.2.35632 has updates all across the board including the addition of major and minor features to modules like the DCS: F-16C, F/A-18C, AH-64D, Black Shark 3, Mi-24P Hind, F-14, and on. DCS: South Atlantic gets three new airfields, more settlements, corrected and adjusted lakes, terrain, vegetation maps, and more.
This update also brings in the heavily revised textures for the JF-17. The exterior continues to look great.
