Heatblur’s Reforger II campaign promises lots of high octane action for the DCS: F-14 Tomcat announced today by Heatblur. Check it out!

Continue the story

Picking up where the first Reforger campaign left off, part two of this campaign features 7-missions flying over the Syria map in DCS World. It’s a free campaign that Heatblur are making a part of the DCS: F-14 Tomcat experience. Here’s what they announced today:

With 128 quickstart, 66 multi and single-player missions, and soon 4 full campaigns, our commitment to content in Heatblur modules is unparalleled. Enjoy this continuation of the Reforger story in a 7-mission, complex, immersive and fully voiced campaign as you fly and fight your Tomcat in the Syria theatre!

It sounds awesome and it comes, in characteristic fashion, with a action packed trailer.

One day, maybe, perhaps, I’ll have to learn to actually manage this plane. I’d say 90% of my time with it is just flying for fun. Once in a while a Phoenix gets fired, but I mostly just fly it because it’s kind of cool.

But with the F-15E coming out in two-weeks 🙂 I doubt I’ll every really get into the Tomcat beyond the superficial.

I think so but I don’t remember. It’s a good reminder that I need to check that campaign out too…

I wonder if this will be “Super Carrier dependent?”. Still yet to purchase that module. Gotta bite the bullet sometime as it is locking me out of a lot of content now.

The first one came with both Supercarrier and non-Supercarrier versions so I’m assuming this one will as well but I haven’t heard either way.

I do recommend it. Not to everyone but if you do fly carrier ops regularly the Supercarrier does add a ton of immersion.
