A long awaited day has come to pass. A2A Simulations have released their Piper Comanche 250 for Microsoft Flight Simulator. It promises to be one of the most detailed aircraft simulations in MSFS to date and it has gathered plenty of attention. Here’s what you need to know!
Comanche released

The day is here and A2A Simulations have released their Piper Comanche 250. This aircraft is built on the company’s famed Accu-Sim technology that helps to enhance the MSFS experience.
A2A are well known in the industry for their extremely high fidelity simulations and have previously released some highly acclaimed aircraft for P3D, FSX, and other sims over the years. They have spent a couple of years making the transition to the latest iteration of Microsoft Flight Simulator but it looks like they are arriving in style.
One of the highlights of A2A’s marketing for this product is the company’s access to their own Comanche 250. Here’s what they had to say about how owning the aircraft enabled them to really hone the details of the product.
I decided early on the first airplane we had to simulate with Accu-Sim 2.0 would be the Comanche 250, as this is an airplane I have owned and operated for over 10 years. It feels like a nice pair of shoes that are perfectly broken in yet still look good. During development I was continuously asking questions without acceptable answers, and our Comanche gave us every answer we asked. Owning the airplane offers tremendous advantages as you don’t need to ask permission or explain why you need to perform some odd sounding test. None of our testing was dangerous but much of it involved things nobody, including me had ever done before. There is a reason I have owned and operated a Comanche 250, N6229P for over a decade, and now through Accu-Sim 2.0, you can better understand why.
Scott Gentile, A2A Simulations
The aircraft comes feature packed with the usual assortment of high quality textures, models, and sounds but also has highly detailed modeling for the engine, electrical, fuel and other systems. During the FSExpo preview we also saw them show us how an aircraft walkaround works with the product and how you can check fuel quality and assess the status of the airplane.
Along with the release, A2A also put out an extremely informative video called ‘Comanche Cruise’ which is not only a great showcase for their product but something that all aspiring aviators and sim aviators may want to watch just for the theory and practical applications of setting your aircraft up for a smooth cruise.
Available now
The price for this aircraft is $49.99 USD, a premium to be sure, but this is a premium GA aircraft so I can understand the higher than normal pricing. The A2A Comanche is now available from the A2A website. I have not yet found a statement on if A2A plan to offer the product through other storefronts or on the Marketplace so stay tuned for more.
