Third party developer AzurPoly has had a number of notable aircraft releases for Microsoft Flight Simulator with the developer’s “beloved” C-160 Transall being one of the highlights of the company’s development time. The Transall is getting an upgrade to MSFS 2024 status and today we’ve got a new update about that.
Transall upgrade status

AzurPoly’s excellent C-160 Transall for Microsoft Flight Simulator (an airplane that I reviewed over here) has been a bit of a hit for the third party developer and the latest update today gives us some insights on the upgrade path for the classic military transport aircraft.
The developer reports that their goal is to convert their most popular aircraft over to MSFS 2024 native format and the C-160 is going first. The textures inside and out have been updated to take advantage of the new sim’s capabilities and they are working to implement MSFS 2024 features. Those include walk around mode, improved performance with the new modular 3D system, new hydraulic system, new pneumatic system, and more. A custom lift truck will even allow you to stand on the wings and inspect them from there. Neat!
A compatible version of the aircraft should already be available on the Marketplace, however, reportedly some cannot see it yet. The upgraded version to native 2024 format will be a paid upgrade with a discount available for current owners.
Stay tuned for further updates from the developer on their Facebook page.
