Announced at the tail end of 2024, Just Flight have announced that the next project they will be tackling is the Learjet 45 or LJ45 Professional in their marketing. The project will follow a few other high profile efforts by the team and their first update gives us a look at the exterior and interior in their current state.

Well underway

While the Just Flight teams are busy programming and finishing up the details on the Fokker 70/100 and A300B4 projects, their art teams are busy working on the LJ45 project. This is Just Flight’s first business jet and its an iconic one that has been a default airplane in the likes of FS98 and FSX.

Here’s a little of what they had to say about the project:

LJ45 Professional is our first business jet product, continuing our tradition of developing a wide range of different and iconic types, and we’re looking forward to bringing our passion and attention to detail to the business jet genre. In addition to wanting to bring back a longstanding default aircraft missing since MSFS 2020, we settled on the LJ45 due to its versatility, long service all around the world, and perfect balance between the old and new.

Some of the features planned are recreating the type’s impressive speed and altitude performance, detailed passenger cabin, galley and toilet (yep, that’s a feature!), and it will also feature a VIP carpet for private jet operations. Nice.

The newly screenshots show the exterior is coming along nicely while the interior is still early days.
