Developers Veco Simulations have provided a five-minute developer video focused on the latest work that their team is doing for a highly detailed T-38A mod for DCS World. Let’s have a look at the latest!

Experts help tune the T-38

Veco Simulations are a mod team doing a project that they intend to be freely available to DCS World pilots but you have to hand it to them for their high production quality developer updates.

The latest update is focused on how their T-38 project is being tested by real world Talon pilots who are flying and providing feedback on the in development aircraft.

The T-38 Talon is, as the video reminds us, a very stick and rudder airplane with sharp and precise handling and is not aided by fly-by-wire systems. It’s all about the pilot and managing the airplane. The team want to replicate that experience in DCS World and they are reportedly engaging with subject matter experts to help them tune the airplane’s handling.

Some of that feedback has reportedly already made its way in with a tuned flight model and revised parameters for the engine.
