Catching up on some recent (and not so recent) updates from IndiaFoxtEcho. The developer is working on both DCS projects (the G.91 and sustaining the MB.339) as well as working on a Eurofighter for MSFS, supporting the F-14 jointly with Heatblur and working on a follow-up F-16A project and there’s also the TA-4J and several other aircraft in the mix.
Eurofighter prepares for release, F-16A moves forward, TA-4J on hold

The team report that they are hoping to release Eurofighter in November. The project is their focus right now and they report that their tests are going well and that real world Eurofighter pilots have tried it out and are reportedly happy with it as well.
Meanwhile, the Heatblur/IndiaFoxtEcho F-16A project is moving forward on the art side of the project and they hope for a Q1 2026 release.
The TA-4J project on the other hand is reportedly on hold while they focus on the Eurofighter. They say they will resume on that one once Eurofighter is out.
G.91 and MB.339 for DCS continue to develop
IndiaFoxtEcho tend to provide more regular updates on their MSFS products, mostly because there’s something to report on, however, we do have a brief mention of the MB.339 and G.91 for DCS World. Its not much but they report substantial work has been done on the MB.339 behind the scenes which they say will help “realign the project maintenance to the new team organization.” Hopefully that means cleaning up of code and making it easier for long term stability for the product as DCS core keeps changing.
The G.91 is listed as moving forward. We know from other developers that MSFS development tends to happen rapidly while DCS development requires building most things from scratch and that takes time. Stay tuned for more on the G.91 soon hopefully.
Other recent updates

IndiaFoxtEcho have written other various updates that I’ve missed over the last few months. The F-14A for MSFS was, for example, updated in September to Version 1.1.10 with fixes to the aircraft model, radar, Jester AI, and adding new liveries.
The team reported in September as well that they’ve been testing compatibility between 2020 and 2024 variants of their aircraft. Some of the challenges are in the flight planner. I’d suggest going on their Facebook and looking it up if you’re looking for work arounds to the various issues. It sounds like they will continue to work on these compatibility issues in the long term.
Finally, a statement in the comments area was posted recently talking about the potential benefits of the new PlayStation 5 announcement.
For me, and for IFE in general, this is POTENTIALLY great news as the MSFS2020/2024 revenues are slowly decreasing (due to natural market saturation) and, while surely the PS5 means more work, it also means more players – and potentially more customers (“potentially” since we have no information on how the Marketplace and add-ons will work on PS5). High quality add-ons are very expensive and time-consuming… so having more customers means better Return on Investment, which allows us to spend more money in development.
Bring on new customers and new potential for developers like IndiaFoxtEcho!
