A new popular helicopter model is coming to Microsoft Flight Simulator courtesy of Stratoware and Miltech Simulations. The MBB Bo 105 helicopter is ready to launch next week with a ton of variants and liveries. Let’s have a look.
Ready for flight

Announced together with several other Miltech Simulations projects back in January of this year, developer Stratorware appears to be launching ever so slightly ahead of the anticipated Q3 release date (when has that happened?!) with their MBB Bo 105 helicopter. There’s some big numbers associated with this project including 13-variants. They are:
- Medical
- Military ATGM
- Aerobatic
- Broadcast (with FLIR system)
- Police (with searchlight)
- Mountain Rescue (with hoists)
- Floats
- Snow Shoes
- Tail Skids
- Sling
And more reportedly!
The aircraft is compatible with Miltech Simulations Mission Hub which gives you objectives and scenarios to complete with the helicopter. Its also compatible with the Career Mode if purchased through the MSFS Marketplace. Also included are 50 liveries, Teufelsgraben Germany scenery, and a soundpack by Echo 19 using real world recordings.
Previews are expected to come ahead of the launch on Friday May 22nd. The launch platform is MSFS 2024 with no word if it will be available for MSFS 2020. There’s also no pricing announced as of yet.
